The main substations of Noor Abu Dhabi consist of 33 KV switchgears and two 500 MVA power transformers. The power transformers are used to increase the power voltage from 33 KV to 220 KV and deliver power to TRANASCO Grid via 220 KV cables. Noor Abu Dhabi is one of the first initiatives to deliver the UAE's Energy Strategy 2050.
Consortium 3: Korea Western Power Company, Etihad Water and Electricity, and Kyuden International. The Taweelah C plant will be built in the Al Taweelah Power and Desalination Complex, which is about 50 kilometers northeast of Abu Dhabi city.
These generators will be the core facility for the natural gas fired GTCC plant, owned and operated by Fujairah Power Company F3 LLC, a special purpose company (SPC) jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) and Mubadala Investment Company, as well as Marubeni Corporation and Hokuriku Electric Power Company.
Through the Shams Power Company PJSC the CSP plant is owned by Masdar, Abu Dhabi Pension Fund and Total.
