Check the correct number of nuts, bolts, washers, terminal covers (or battery covers) and battery links have been received, along with the battery manufacturer''s maintenance instructions.
The 25-75kW UPS includes a 75 kW rated static bypass section, max. 8 internal paralleled UPM modules, It's including internal battery version and without Internal Battery Version. The UPS is including rectifier input switch, output switch, bypass switch and MBS switch, N as default.
Special care should be taken when working with the battery cabinet associated with the equipment. Ensure the battery number is suited to the setting of the battery charging voltage before installing the battery. When the battery cabinet is connected the overall voltage exceeds nominal voltage.
Turn off the UPS. Check all the external battery breakers are open. Connect PE first. Connect the battery cabinet(s) with cables sized according to cable cross section and protective device specification to terminals + (positive pole) and - (negative pole). Refer to instructions provided with the battery cabinet or by vendor.
By default, UPS is configured to use VRLA batteries. Should there be a need to connect other type of batteries or other energy storage means, a certified service technician should be consulted prior to proceeding with installation. The Eaton 93PR25-75kW UPS is including internal battery version and external battery version.
