Among the most innovative projects is the 50 MW floating solar plant at the Tamarind Falls reservoir, currently in the tendering phase. This project is set to be one of the largest floating solar plants in the region, showcasing Mauritius' commitment to cutting-edge renewable energy technologies.
A 1.5 MW BESS was installed at Pointe Monnier Power Station, strengthening the network and supporting renewable energy integration. The CEB is committed to further expanding its BESS capacity to meet growing energy demands and support the integration of renewable energy.
