Therefore, in 2023, a typical Egyptian household of four is expected to use about 24 k W h of electricity. To determine the appropriate specifications and sizing for the deployed PV-battery system, PVsyst 7.2 was employed. This software makes it easier to calculate the amount of energy produced as well as to plan the layout of the system.
