The construction of the Belt and Road Initiative Space Information Corridor has been a resounding success. China has built teleports connecting South Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. The data from remote sensing satellites under the China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite (CBERS) program is widely used in multiple countries and fields.
China has demonstrated its willingness to engage in legal cooperation with participating countries, and the Belt and Road Initiative could serve as a catalyst for enhanced collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, and intellectual property (Wolf, 2020).
China, a major global economic power in recent years, spearheads the Belt and Road Initiative. This has raised concerns that the BRI could undermine the established regional governance frameworks, such as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) (Gong, 2019).
China has also utilized the Belt and Road Initiative as a means to promote its economic model and challenge the hegemony of Western institutions like the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (Jones, 2020). The Belt and Road Initiative has yielded substantial implications for China's diplomatic relations with other countries.
